James L. Kelley was born in 1976 in Allen, Oklahoma. His father is historian Leo Kelley, who has published dozens of articles and a number of monographs on Oklahoma history. James is working on an M. Th. in Eastern Orthodox Theology, focusing on twentieth century Orthodox theologians.
James is currently translating Christos Yannaras’ Philosophie sans rupture into English, and hopes to do much more in that area, his next project being a translation of Dmitru Staniloae’s Dieu est Amour.
